A modern tale
"All you´ve got to do is go to the internet, download the images and photos you need, and use them where you want to!"
Unfortunately this misconseption is widespread through the online community. But this is not correct!
Jedes "Werk" - sei es nun ein Text, eine Grafik, ein Lied, ein Video oder - wie in meinem Fall - ein Foto - unterliegt zumindest dem Urheberrecht (see → Austrian copyright law). Das Urheberrecht sagt klar aus, dass das Recht der freien Veröffentlichung und Nutzung des "Werkes" ausschließlich dem Ersteller desselben zusteht. Es steht dem Urheber aber natürlich jederzeit frei, ein Nutzungsrecht für sein "Werk" einer anderen Person zu übertragen. Natürlich aber zu den Bedingungen, die der Urheber festlegt.
